Illuminate your space with the glow of "Hurricane Britannia" - an homage to the classic elegance of candlelight. Finished in a bronze highlight and complemented by clear glass, it evokes the historical charm of lighting from before the era of modern technology. Before innovations such as oil lamps or electric lights appeared, candles illuminated interiors, often placed on elegant candlesticks and sconces. Inspired by neoclassical design, this unique lamp recalls the atmosphere of a bygone era – full of sophistication, refinement, and mood lighting accompanying festive gatherings.
HISTORICAL ORIGINS
The Hurricane Britannia model draws inspiration from a pair of British candlesticks (circa 1780–1790) in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Before Argand oil lamps were introduced in the late 18th century, homes were primarily lit by candles. Due to the high cost of wax, multi-candlestick illuminations were reserved for special occasions – balls, dinners, and celebrations. Candles were placed in hanging, wall-mounted, or standing candlesticks, such as chandeliers, girandoles, or candelabras. In the mid-18th century, richly carved Rococo designs appeared, followed by more subdued Neoclassical forms – this trend became the inspiration for the Hurricane Britannia project, made of linden wood, glass, and gilded bronze. Our contemporary version, with a bronze highlight finish and a glass lantern, is an elegant blend of history and timeless style.

Right of withdrawal from the contract

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

In the case of a contract obliging to transfer ownership of many items that are delivered separately, the withdrawal period expires after 14 days from the day on which you acquired, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquired, physical possession of the last item.

In the case of a contract obliging to transfer ownership of goods delivered in batches or parts, the withdrawal period expires after 14 days from the day on which you acquired, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquired, physical possession of the last batch or part.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us – Clue Studio Sp. z o.o. Sp.k. ul. Syta 93; 02-987 Warszawa of your decision to withdraw from the sales contract concluded with us by means of an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal from the contract

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back or hand over the purchased goods to us at Clue Studio Sp. z o.o. Sp.k. ul. Syta 93; 02-987 Warszawa without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

In connection with the withdrawal from the contract and return of goods, you will have to bear the direct costs of returning the goods. The amount of these costs is estimated at a maximum of 30 to 800 PLN – depending on the weight and/or size of the purchased goods.
