Neo Colonial Trend - vacation inspiration from Eichholtz

Trend Neo Colonial - wakacyjna inspiracja od Eichholtz

Hot days and the upcoming holidays bring to mind the need for distant journeys. Exotic voyages are not only a respite from everyday life. They are also an inspiration to smuggle oriental vibes into your own home. The brand Eichholtz has its own idea for this, which is the Neo Colonial style.

It is said that classic is timeless. But is it the only one? Eichholtz designers love to interpret traditional designs and have developed a style that also stands the test of time. An important component of it are oriental references - more or less literal. And so, Far Eastern classics are spiced with a pinch of modernity or dazzling glamour. Or, conversely, they are softened with serene minimalism. The Neo Colonial style proposed by the Dutch brand mixes influences taken from distant corners of the world. Here you will find Chinese vases, woven rattan furniture, animal figurines, decorations with palm or bamboo motifs. Among the furniture, there are cabinets resembling travel trunks and referring to traditional Chinese furniture, sofas and ottomans with studs, or armchairs with shells inspired by garden swings. In the Neo Colonial style, furniture and accessories can be combined according to individual preferences. It is also a good idea to add more contemporary elements, such as a simple light sofa or armchair, a rug with a geometric pattern, a glass-top table or an Art Deco crystal chandelier. The unique world of Eichholtz can be best explored by visiting the CLUE Studio showroom in Warsaw at ul. Syta 93, which presents the largest exhibition of the brand's products in Poland.
