The Eichholtz brand has been synonymous with modern classics for 25 years. Its position is due to its consistency in creating furniture, lighting, and accessories in a distinctive, recognizable style. The Eichholtz anniversary is a good opportunity to recall the company's history.
It all started over 25 years ago with a trip to Asia and America, which Theo Eichholtz embarked on with his school friend Auke Wichers. It was during this trip that Theo encountered furniture and accessories that introduced a special atmosphere to interiors and also harmonized well with each other. Soon, Eichholtz Overseas Decorations was established, importing interior furnishings; first from Indonesia, then from Burma, India, China, and Thailand.
Over the years, Eichholtz has created its own style. Today, other manufacturers follow it. Many models still, of course, feature oriental touches, but Dutch designers create furniture and accessories referencing overseas interior design styles: New York, contemporary, or Hamptons. This results in unique furnishings that can be recognized at first glance. Shiny chrome, gilded or mirrored finishes, crystal chandeliers, rich fabrics, and geometric forms – these are essential components of the Eichholtz style. A style loved by enthusiasts of luxurious interiors almost worldwide.
The unique world of Eichholtz can best be explored by visiting the Clue Studio showroom in Warsaw at ul. Syta 93, which presents the largest exhibition of the brand's products in Poland.
